So I have lost all my gains due to a second shed will it come back?
Hi, been on minoxidil/nizoral for a year, finasteride for 10 months. Hair shed 1 month after starting minoxidil, shed lasted for a month or so, got some regrowth, started finasteride with no shedding. hair improved greatly at the 3-7 month mark.
Now my hair has gotten so much worse, I think the shedding has lasted like 2 months and my hair is back to the baseline in certain areas but still better in others. I shaved it to a number 2 because i got so depressed. I think the shedding has been reduced.
My question is , is it possible that my hair could come back better then before and this 2nd shed could be a normal thing??

I have had multiple sheds on meds but that sounds kind of extreme. What are the sources for your meds? Did you change brands before or during this shed? WHat is your dose of fin and how old are you?

im on kirkland 5 pecent, nizoral/ regenpure and proscar cut into fifths. Didn't change anything in my regimen.
What I do remember is the last 2 years, my hair was shit at this time and improved in the next 2 months. I don't know maybe my hair has a cycle, I just want to know if its possible to shed a good amount of hair and then when the shedding stops it grows back again and better?

Yes it is possible for hair to grow back after a shed, as good as before or sometimes better. There is also such thing as seasonal shedding so that might also be playing a role for you

Shedding is usually good sign and hair comes back stronger
