    Default Another treatment than minoxidil

    Hello!

I've been using minoxidil for almost 3 years and suffering from white flakes. It started for about 3 months ago and swaped to the foam for about 2 months ago in hope to solve the problem.

It helped a little bit but not as much as I hoped so I have started to apply it once a day but it's still some white flakes on the scalp.

Are there someone that have the same issue and how did you solve it? Are there any other treatment as minoxidil without the problem?

That is the main reason why I never tried it until recently. My scalp has been pretty bad since I was younger so I have been using some kind of neutrogena shampoo for what seems like forever. I have been using minoxidil for about 5 weeks now and my scalp does not feel as good as before. I do not see too much flaking, but it does itch sometimes. Maybe if I didn't fight the itch and scratched i would have flaking. Maybe if you mixed in an anti dandruff shampoo that might help. I try to use Regenpure Dr on most days, but will switch back to my other shampoo if my scalp feels dry and itchy.

Thanks for the answer! My scalp itch aswell but it was alot worse when I was on the liquid minoxidil.

I'm using the revita schampoo that contains keto and might dry out my scalp (?).
