Default HST reply - claims of 6-8 HSTs

    Question:
I am reading on the forums that a maximum of 3 HSTs are being suggested by your team, why is this? I had figured at an 80% regeneration rate, I could keep restoring my hair as I lost it every year, but that seems not to be possible with HST anymore?

    Answer:
I am not aware of this, could you please provide me with more information about this? Who give the advise? To which client?
The treatment advise is differ per individuals, it depends on the donor area, the hair quality, the density of the donor area, if he/she has been treated before, the recipient area, etc.
We evaluate the donor area of the client after 9 months and give advise for the treatment. I have clients who have done up to 6-8 times HST.

Please elaborate further so that I can get a better picture regarding this matter.

    Good email, great answer!

I would dig a bit more if I were you. I think the news came from Kristel according to Arashi. Who sent you the reply?

This is what Kristel told me when I asked why Dean Saunders only had 3 HST's:

De 2e reden is dat de hergroei, zoals iedereen weet, niet 100% is en er dus na multipele behandelingen uit het donorgebied (in zijn geval reeds 3x ruim 1700) als we nog vaker gaan uihalen hetzelfde beeld gaat ontstaan als na FUE. Als cliënten aangeven dat ze toch regelmatig hun haren volledig willen kunnen afscheren, adviseren we maximaal 3x het donorgebied te gebruiken.
She's not talking about Dean here, she's talking in general about 'clients' not about Dean. So it seems we have different answers from different people at HASCI ... Interesting !

It's kind of frustrating though, since we still don't know anything at all. And now we even have different people at HASCI claiming different things.

I've read that you, Gaz, said that if you went another time were going to photograph EVERY single graft on your scalp. That should be interesting and might finally give us what we're looking for.

I must say that the answer you've gotten makes more sense though. It seems odd the least to advice clients in general to have not more than a certain amount of surgeries, since donor quality obviously greatly varies.

Agreed. I will ask more questions. I am loaded with other responsibilities @ work at the moment so trying to work thru some of them so I can get to this...

This doesn't surprise me massively, when Dr Gho was explaining to me how the regeneration of hairs is sometimes twisted and affects a bit the yield on a 2nd pass the female doctor who I was seeing looked blank - she didn't seem aware of it! They seem to work quite separately and have slightly different ideas - at least, that's how it comes across.

So they've done several clients who've had more than 6-8 HST treatments, but not a single photo, video, patient testimony, to share with anyone?
Is that the story that is being given a pass around here?
