What age does the emotional pain lessen?

My emotional pain lessened only when I did something about it, an fue, which calmed my hairloss problem down considerably but not entirely to the point where I don't think about it at all. I just think about it less. Otherwise, I think either never or when you have too many bills to pay, kids to raise, a high paying job, and a wife.
