Default What age does the emotional pain lessen?

Seriously guys, at 26 years of age, and fully slick bald Norwood 7, I get depressed a lot.

When does the emotional pain lessen??? I sometimes think never.

how did this happen so fast? did you treat your hairloss when you noticed it? That's very young for a NW7. The only thing I'd do if I were that bald would be scalp pigmentation.

I have no idea how it happened so fast. I starting losing it at 15. Since then, my confidence has been low. And a Norwood 7 is tough ya know....

Sure its tough with society making fun of me for being bald, then making fun of me if I wear a piece...

I'm at a loss as to what to do....

That is the key, when you are old enough to be bald.

And don't want to sound like a jerk, but "old" is subjective and society has been pushing the mark when you are supposed to be acting "old"

In the past, people in their 30's were considered "old", most people already had kids going into their teenage years. Now society expects people in their 30's to still behave like frat boys

With men like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise walking around, society doesn't expect a 50 year old men to act and look "old" anymore

I didnt realise you were a NW7 flight, did you not try any interventions such as propecia to try and halt/slow down the process?

Only tried minox; that too for a few days, as it was really really drying out my scalp and causing dandruff.

By then, it was too late....the hair follicles have permanently miniaturized......

I'm happy that some of u have been able to save ur hair, or are canidates for surgery....

diffuse loss or slick bald? Honestly if you found a good hair system like from toplace.com it wouldn't even register as being fake.. Some people have a thing against it but I totally would use one if my hair loss was severe enough and not mind it.

Plenty of treatments and a possible cure are coming too...
