The pain of hair loss lessens when you die.

This is considering the fact that there have been, and are plenty of 40-60 years old's throughout hair loss forums.

It never lessens, you must die for the pain to go away.

I say once you're married, have kids, and your career is established.

Are you patiently waiting for death to take you?

It goes away when you accept it, simple as that. Some guys aren't too phased about it to start with, some are consumed with it. The pain went away for me i suppose when i hit age 29 30ish, havent been anguishing over it for a couple of years now, i think because i got too fed up with the stress. The piss taking also got tiresome that i stopped paying attention, life has been better since.

A bald man looks good if he is fit with low body fat. Also, some sort of facial hair helps. Moreover, you must be tanned, as a pale bald man looks ridiculous. About looking old, shaving your head can actually take away years from your age. For example, the lead singer of Tool who is bald looks much younger than James Hetfield, although they are of almost the same age. And he looks much better too. Hair is effin overrated! Its all about the face!

Nah, am just a bit surprised as this thread was probably at page 50 or so of this subforum.

The question can have so many different answers. For me personally I will say it still sucks to be dealing with hair loss and wish I had a full head of hair, but as some one that will be 40 in a couple of years it isn't devastating. Many of my peers are dealing with hair loss, so it is not like I am an outcast or anything like that, I just have shitty hair.

Now in the case of FlightTL, I would say that with each passing year the emotional pain should be decreasing. You are already a NW7 so it is not like your hair is getting any worse, it is as bad as it is going to get. In addition to that as you get older it is not that uncommon for guys to be dealing with hair loss. I am not saying that FlightTL should not care about his hair loss, but he should already be adjusting to living life as a bald man, or at least making plans to try to do something about it. I have yet to hear of whining and complaining as an effective treatment for hair loss.
