    Question Spencer vs Spex

Let's say both Spencer and Spex decide they no longer want to take finasteride:

    1. Who would have more hair loss?
    2. Whose hair would look more natural? Remember that Spex had multiple hair transplants.

** This is an interesting topic because since Spencer has taken finasteride for so long, there might be a chance that he no longer reacts to DHT like a beginning stage hair loss sufferer. Maybe his hair follicles have become immune to dht due to long term medication use.

Also, note that if Spex stops finasteride, his HT will give him coverage up top, but will this transplanted hair thin???

I wonder as well, as Spex has had a lot of restoration work done to his hair, i wonder how he praises Fin so highly, he can't see what it's done for him? Or maybe he can - Spex, how can you tell what Fin has done for you?

While I don't know if there is any scientific basis for that theory, I wonder if there is some truth to that.

My main hair loss started around 36 and was very fast. Got on propecia and stayed on it for about 4 years. It worked really well. I have been off of it for years and noticed that my loss, while it certainly has restarted, has never been as fast as it was before propecia. Could be coincidence, not really sure, but just thought I would throw that out there.

    Hi,
Finasteride has certainly helped me a great deal and definitely helped prevent further loss in the mid crown region over the last 13 years.
If i were to stop it i do not know where my hair loss would progress to ( scary thought ) , but based on my hair loss in my early 20's before any surgery or finasteride ( see pic below )
i think it would certainly be way worse off than i am now. The second pic shows the areas benefitted by HT's and meds. I got my trait from my mothers side and my grandfather was full blown Nw6 in mid twenties and lost his hair in the same pattern as me, in the front initially, and then through the mid crown over the space of a couple years. Therefore chances are i would have followed him unfortunately. Hope this helps.
    Regards

Is there anything at all negative you have to say about Fin Spex? Your experience has been trouble free over the years with it?

... I hope you realize I was joking.

@ jcm.... I can say I did have side effects. Enough for me to stop completely.

I did dectect some sarcasm lol

I personally have had no negative experiences with finasteride, only positive.

I have not experienced any ( known ) side effects, however i appreciate that's not the case for everyone.

    I hope this helps.
