Is this one of those tattoo things? I actually think this combined with a sparse HT could bring a NW7 to a decently aesthetic "head of hair" if he kept it shaved. It would look like he was a NW0. The most important part of hair/hairlines is their facial framing, which would be accomplished by this. You would just be locked into the same style forever.

Wow, yeah. Definitely better than shaving your head straight bald. I will probably do this if I ever have to (which I doubt but it is nice to have the option). Best of luck to you, man. Hope it turns out great!

Sounds like a very effective strategy. It would be annoying to have to constantly shave and trim, but it would definitely be worth it overall.

All depends on your terminal norwood and what donor regeneration % you get...norwood 6-7 probably not...norwood 4-5 with 50% donor regeneration I guess you could get pretty close and leave your worries behind

The problem with seeing finasteride as a last resort, is that that is the one way to ensure it will never work for you. The whole point with fin is to prevent hair loss, not wait until after the hair loss happens

However I understand some people do not tolerate fin well. For them it would be a last resort or a non option.

I've read that the hair you have at 30 will be similar to what you have at 60.

It either goes fast or it goes really slow.

I'd hold off until you're 30 or your loss has stabilized with treatments before you consider a transplant.
