Does short hair look thinner?
I have noticed that everytime i get a haircut, my hair appears to look like it's thinning on the top, just like this: http://www.i-hairstyle.com/wp-conten...airstyle-1.jpg
Is this normal? I usually get 0,2 inches on the back and sides, and 0,6-0,8 inches on the top 8my barber cuts it till it not longer visiable over his fingers when holding my hair through his fingers...
Thx for your time

Yes it's normal. Especially if you gel your hair.

The shorter your hair is, the more likely it is the scalp shows.

And less shingling occurs as well. There is a sweet spot for length that gives your hair the fullest appearance. Too short or too long will make it look thinner.

There is a sweet spot when I buzz my hair that makes it look like it has an amazing density, a few mms longer and it looks like I'm thinning
