    21 and receding?? :(

    Hi all,

New to the forum and I would like some advice to know what is going on. I have recently noticed the receding hairline and the thinning on the front, looking at passed images from April and before the hair was full, this month I lost a substantial amount of hair without realising until I looked in the mirror!
I quickly went to my GP to get blood test result etc, all passed. It is not a genetic related as all family members have full hair?? Went for a consultation they said the alopecia male pattern baldness is due to DHT and advised me to go on their treatment course (12 months) for Propecia + Minox 10% Cream (10%) costing £1,460. I have thick hair but the hair is thin at the front and falling off, hair is thinning at the crown also. My hair has been feeling weird recently.. any thoughts?

Take a look at pics: (and thanks!)

Id go with generic finasteride and kirkland minox, you'd save a lot of money.

Firstly, it's not that unusual to be losing hair at age 21. Perhaps none of your friends are experiencing it, but many guys out there are.

I think you've been given good advice on the best course of action to prevent further loss (and the Regaine might re-grow hair, especially at your crown), but you don't need to pay that much for those medications.

I can't really direct you to sources myself, but I hope someone else might step in with some links to reliable online pharmacies.
