Shed after 7 month minox, 6 month propecia
I quit using my minoxidil last summer because I thought it wasn't working and then not long after, I experienced a MASSIVE shed. I got back on minoxidil at the beginning of September and then added Propecia a month later. I was also using regenepure DR and NT. By January, my hair was looking great--fuller than it was when I initially stopped taking minoxidil. However two months ago, I noticed shedding. Nothing too drastic, just consistent. It has persisted and I'm thinner on top but not as thin as I was when restarted the minox. My question: Is this normal? Has anyone experienced sheds after about 6-7 months of minoxidil and propecia? If so, when will it stop and will the hair return?

Yea bro, same story..used minox for a while and quit...massive shed. Back on minox for 6 months now, but have been on propecia ~1 year. Sheddings elevated now and hair is looking a little worse...power through and hopefully the sheds don't last too long and well start to see results in the next 6-12 mobths

Yeah, the shed has lasted for about 3 1/2 months now so maybe it'll slow down soon.

If you google "month x shed" and put in anything from 5 6 7 8 for x, you'll see lots of people go through a second shed around half a year, most of the time they say in the coming months the results came back. It could be a rogaine shed + your regular seasonal shed compounding to make a particularly bad shed. That's what I'm hoping it is for me
