Default Stopped Fin, Body Hair Growing Out of Control

I was teased for my hairy arms and chest in high school and early college, but around the age of 21 it stopped, and for whatever reason I never connected that Propecia had significantly thinned out my body hair for several years. I just figured everyone else had caught up to me and being older it didn't matter to people as much.

Nope. I quit Propecia for good about 5 months ago and ever since I've slowly turned into a ****ing gorilla. Two or three hairs sprout out of most follicles on my arms, and my legs are noticeably hairier. I have very dark hair and very pale skin, so it really stands out.

I've been combing the web all day looking for ways to thin it out rather than entirely remove it, but somehow in 2013 we haven't figured out how to do that (probably since nobody cared until the past decade). So my question is: should I just get one of these home laser contraptions and laser it all off? Is that a feminine thing to do? I'd love to have the same amount of hair I had while on Propecia but apparently it's impossible to do, and now I'm forced to choose between being ridiculously hairy or having no hair at all and looking metrosexual.

So what do you guys think, is removing arm hair a no-go? I'd say on a scale of 1-10 I'm an 8.5 when it comes to thickness and amount of arm hair, right under the amount where you're so obviously hairy you definitely need to take it all off. I'm currently trimming it now, but as more and more hair grows in, the weirder it looks when it's trimmed.

I've said this before, and i'll say it again. Finasteride was using the hairs that were supposed to be body hairs and making them grow on your head. It's a sacrifice you gotta take if you want hair on your head.

    I am only kidding.

Home lasers don't work. I went to a spa and had it done. You need several treatments to get rid of all the hair. You can just stop when you get the results you want. I would go and ask a specialist and ask how many treatments it would take to get the results you want.

I'll keep that in mind, but there are some home lasers on amazon that are really well reviewed and seem to work fine after several treatments, though they're not permanent.

Were you able to thin the hair out or did you just opt to get rid of it completely? You had to completely get rid of the hair at first and let it grow back thinner and thinner, right? Was it awkward being around friends and family members when you had the first treatments (supposing you were known for hairy arms and body hair)?

Sorry for all the questions, just leaning toward doing this and want to make sure it's a good move. Thanks.
