This patient's donor scar was 1mm in width - as seen 10 months after his follicular unit transplantation [FUT] procedure with Dr. Wesley (NYC). The first images shows an untouched region of his donor scalp as compared with a the donor scar. The second magnified image displays the donor scar with a 5mm calibration. The claim of 1mm donor scars is common amongst many surgical practices, but actual measurements are uncommon. A very fine donor scar is especially important in this young man's case as the color contrast between hair and scalp is significant.
