Default Towel dry or blow dry

Can't goto work with wet head, which would be better to preserve your hair?

Won't make any difference. If you want more volume and a fuller look, blow drying is the way to go. Just use a medium heat setting.

Hair loss (well, MPB at least) is based on your hormones, not anything external affecting your hair. However you dry it will affect nothing but your hairstyle.

as someone who lost most of his frontal hair due to blow drying, i'd advise u to use towel instead. gently pat the hair and let them dry naturally.

now if u suffer from mpb, u will lose hair eventually anyways (unless u treat it wth medication). but, blow drying will take them away faster.

I just pat my hair dry with my towel, at the peak of my shedding and before I used to really scrub at my head with my towel to dry it, I'm not saying drying my hair differently has stopped my shedding, I think it's just a coincidence, but it is definitely kinder to hair.

Unless you were burning your scalp, I don't think blow drying sped up your balding

Blow drying definitely damages your hair, though it probably wont make you bald
