Doing all you can for the time being man, just be patient and try not to think about it much, let the meds do their job. Reassess in a few months time, I bet you will have seen improvement.

Thanks for the reply, how long is the turnaround usually from shed to regrowth? Ive read some stories about people shedding and no regrowth, is that common? Thanks

Well I think a shed from minoxidil is pretty common from what I've read, just stick with it and it should all grow back better. There are some stories of hair never growing back with minoxidil use but there's going to be negative stories for all products out there. Remember, unless hair is literally being pulled out, hair falling out is the first sign of regrowth.
Personally I've been using fin for nearly 2 months and niz for one, I was shedding pretty bad before I started any of them and in the last few weeks my hairloss has almost stopped completely, I still have the odd bad day where a bit more than I'd like comes out but other than that its been good.
I don't have any experience with minoxidil, it's not that I don't trust it its just I don't like using something where the science behind it isn't completely understood, at least with finasteride we know the exact process as to why its good for fighting MPB. That's not to put you off it though, it definitely works for most.
