Big 3, 1 Year Pics

Hi Everyone! Here are before/after pics of my one year treatment with Big3. Progress is slow, but I am pleased with results. Here is my routine. Let me know if you have any questions.

(1) Finasteride 1mg once a day after breakfast
(2) Minoxidil 5% solution (generic) apply once a day only and before bed-time
(3) Nizoral 2% shampoo apply once a week
(4) Rest each day I use regular shampoo (Pantene) and sometimes conditioner
(5) NO oil, gel, mousse, blow dryer. I do use hair color

The 1st picture is not very clear as the 2nd one is so cant compare, but glad you have results

nope - I don't have the balls to go under the scalpel for hair

Progress is slow, but I am pleased with results.

The pics are not very good. It is very difficult to see that there is improvement but with some effort I can see improvement. Consider adding Rogaine foam in the morning.

It would be nice if the BTT could post an instruction on taking good quality pictures for measuring progress.

Another way to measure your progress is to make a mold of your balding area as you would if you were going to order a hair piece. It's pretty easy to do. Just make a mold every six months and compare them to see if the balding area is shrinking.

I didnt want to be the first to say this , because I dont feel that being negative with someones effort does anything to further the sites cause.

But in this case I have thought about it for several days and have come to this conclusion. I dont want others to come read your thread and think medications do nothing whatsoever. Its not fair to the millions who it has helped and does no justice to new people who want hope that they can get help.

Your photos make it look like the medications have done nothing whatsoever and in fact, look slightly worse like you had not taken anything at all.

Like the others have stated, I hope its because the lighting is bad or its at the wrong angle.

The only way its possible is if your hairloss was so rapid, that taking the meds slowed it down to a crawl, and you barely lost anything in the last year.

Please let us know whats going on and post up a couple of more pics

You should take pics with the same hair cut.

Like the others, I can't tell the difference, only different hair length.

Did you take more pictures? I have taken pictures in every angle possible, every lighting, 3 different rooms, day and night pics, clear pics, blurry pics, all kinds. All with the same exact haircut.

You should get the same hair cut and take the same angle as the before picture and then come back here and post it.

That's funny. Anyways - I feel the hair have improved and understand the process is slow. Perhaps, these pictures are better. The first one was taken 8 months ago and the 2nd I took today.

Not really. It's still pretty difficult to tell any improvement.

Keeping your hair exactly the same for that period of time would have helped a little but the quality of the photography is still too poor for most to be able to tell if anything happened at all. I see improvement but I had to work really hard to be able to find it.
