New to BTT, Would appreciate advice

Hi guys,

For the last year or two I've kept a watchful eye on BTT and have finally decided to ask for a little advice. I'm almost positive I have MPB as It runs in the family. My cousins with the same bald grandfather(mothers side) = bald or nearly bald at my age, 25. My grandmother is not the same as theirs 50% native american. (random fact) but would that have anything to do with my slower progression of mpb as compared to my cousins? Sorry I'm just curious as to what the differences could be if anyone knows.

I also live a very healthy life (diet,exercise,low stress, vitamins etc.). Probably helps some i guess.

I'm only nearing a NW2, and it has taken almost 2-3 years for this to happen once I noticed hair falling out. I feel quite blessed to this regard but I still want to, if possible, HALT the progression of my MPB. Even though my hair is slowly receding back it is VERY dense, except where it thins up then moves back( slow cycle). I'll try to find and post pictures old and new tomorrow or the next day.

Is PREVENTION the best measure for me? I would be happy to keep what I've got. Should I consider Fin. at this point? I just want to be proactive, if possible, to stop any further loss. I should be in grad school for another year or two but would like to not lose it all before I become 'marketable'. Sounds strange, but I have even with the little loss I've had and thought of what may come has taken a toll on my confidence. Very Annoying.

What is the Average price of a consulatation with a dermatologist/hair specialist? Just curious as to a round-about figure as I am on a VERY limited budget.
