I think you look good and suit the clipper cut. I would blend it from a 2 guard (6mm) to 1 guard (3 mm) a good barber can set the blade to blend between the lengths of both guards and get the classic tapered in cut .

    All the best.

I think you can pull off the shaved look for sure. You have an exceptionally strong chin and a good looking face. Keep it shaved down, move on with your life and stay as far away from hair loss forums as you can. You've won the battle!

Step in the right direction dude.

Short hair makes you look cleaner and more groomed. I'd say go a 1 on the sides if your doing a 2 on the top. The take home message is you've improved your appearance.

If you can get outside a little more for a tan and maybe leave a small amount of stubble.

Next step???? Build up your upper body size....increase protein intake and try some push ups every day or second day. I found this today (http://imgur.com/gallery/ETv7B)

Next...fashion. Just an idea I had was type in a bald celebrity you admire and paparazzi to see what they wear day to day... I googled Jason Statham paparazzi there and this was an image I got that I thought looked good.

Note I dont know had to add images so I used the linked site

Id go for a 0 on the back and sides blended into a 1 on top, this will minimize how much you can notice the "balding line". Shorter definately looks sharper.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll end up going for the completely bald look soon enough. The front of my hair is the thinnest part (in the area of the bangs) and since it's thinning I'll end up bald either way so why not?! It would feel good to not have to worry about what your hair looks like ever again.

Soon enough happened to be this afternoon. I shaved a couple hours after my last post. I feel a lot better about a shaved head then I imagined. It looks funny now because my head is so white but that's fixable. I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks for the advice guys

So i'm guessing you don't want to treat your hair loss with finasteride and Rogain then? Your hair loss type looks like you could be a good responder to the drugs.

Well that does not matter now, you sound happy with the way you look, that's the most important part of balding.

He's a good looking guy, can def pull off the bald look.

However, I would agree with you in that he should at least try. Im also curious about what he has already tried.

                      Glad that's over with

Using medication just wasn't a good choice for me. I felt that 8-12 months was way to long for me to wait.

cs2257 - I had never tried anything to bring back my hair growth. I bought the Rogaine program at Wal-Mart but couldn't stick to the regimen.

Well, it's been about 3 weeks and I'm definitely a lot happier with a shaved head. It's funny, if someone cracks a joke about my "chrome dome" or call me cue ball, it just doesn't bother me. Before I was constantly thinking about my hair, and when someone cracked a joke about it, it was very depressing.
Before, I had something to blame my depression on - my thinning hair, but now I have no hair to be depressed about. You do the math.

No hair = No depression (for those who failed math class :P)

Looking back, I can laugh it off. I've received negative and positive feedback about my newly shaved head. Some girls told me straight out they liked my new "style" better. My confidence is through the roof compared to before the shave.

The main reason I came back is to post the shaved head picture I mentioned in my previous post and to say goodbye to forums.

Though, I will stick around to give some feedback to others who are in my previous position. I would have never shaved my head without the people in this forum, and for that, I thank you!

                          Looks great baud.

Can you grow some stubble on your beard? Try it out, I think.

completely agree with all the advice, a little stubble, some natural tan, and set a goal to put on 10 lbs in the next 2 months of lean muscle gains and you'll be set

Looks way better man. You actually look your age now. You've got good facial aesthetics for the bald look. I'll echo everyone's advice and say a little stubble, a moderate tan, and some size at the gym will do wonders.

Working on getting a tan and trying to start working out. Just having a hard time making the commitment.

I would grow a "five o'clock shadow" but I have to be clean-shaven for work.

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys.
