Do HASCI clinics discuss hairloss treatments with patients?
Regular hair transplant surgeons and clinics implore their patients to use finasteride, often in combo with minoxidil, to halt the patient's ongoing hairloss.
Is this the same at Dr Gho's HASCI clinics? IIRC their after are pack contains minoxidil liquid, but that may just be intended as a booster for the transplanted hairs.

Finasteride is more trouble than it's worth for the majority of people.
Regardless, because there's no visible scarring and the promise of donor regeneration, there's less risks associated with the procedure. If things don't work out, you can shave/buzz your head at any time.
