I feel you mate! To cheer you up a bit, I'm 22 years old myself and got worse hair than you do.

Give it some more time and you'll probably grow some more hair!

Needs more time, bro. [difficult to imagine *me* of all people writing this]. I'm two months farther along on finasteride than you and my hair is just worse, worse, worse versus baseline.

Anytime I rant on these boards or scour the internet as if some sort of conclusive answer has manifested itself, I find the same resolution: just keep waiting.

I must say though, I think you would look better if you shortened everything up. Go super short on the sides, like 1 guard, and taper it up to half inch to 3/4 inch on top. I know the last thing most of us want to do while balding is cut it shorter, but I swear it makes it look better. I was feeling absolutely devastated by hair loss a week ago and went to the barber determined to go super short and force myself to cope. I left with hair looking thicker than ever and new-found comfort.

First of all I want to say that I am a believer that if you just lost your hair in recent months, it's very likely that you will be able to regain a lot of them back and maybe even more, who knows. With that said, you have hair scattered across your entire head, which is kinda good.

What I noticed for me, is that I saw true results after being on fin for 9 months or so. It just takes longer for some people than others. Let us say that you have seen a good amount of growth in about 8 months. If I were you, I would then buy some Dermatch brown and also some Toppik, that should give an extra boost.

Whatever you do, don't quit your regimen or you might lose everything you have. You will get nothing, but all will be taken away from you.

One thing I would also recommend is to cut your hair short and document your progress with the same hair cut, similar lighting etc. It will be easier to see your improvement that way. I think I might actually see some improvement, but not sure since your hair is longer in the first pic. Don't quit though. Keep using fin, minox, a keto shampoo if possible. One last thing, not sure if money is an issue for you, but if it is consider generic minox and getting fin online. If my math is correct you will end up paying less than $20 a month to treat your hairloss.
