A bit of a funny question: am I the only bloke here over 30?

It's odd to ask, I know, but it seems that so many posters here are in their college years or their teens, for whom the process of aging seems a remote and distant thing.

Am I the only fellow seeking to deal with my hair loss from the perspective of inevitable aging?

    Thanks.

Nearly all the new posts are from under 30 as that is when they start to lose their hair, but there are plenty of veterans who use the forum and some who have drifted away

I am over 30 and also a veteran which shan mentions. I have had two HTs and started meds in 2007 and stopped in 2012.

Ability to think clearly, poor short term memory, fatigue, feeling spaced out, slurring words, muscle twitches...

The symptoms are similar to those of early Alzheimer's disease. I made a thread to make other guys aware - http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthread.php?t=12256

I'm 33, and first started noticing hair thinning at 25. It's been a slow progression in the "A" pattern (generally even recession across the hairline), and I'm at about a Norwood 3A today.

What am I taking? Mostly styling tips for what I have remaining. As I said in my first post, aging is inevitable, and I see it as a sign of wisdom and maturity (shocking as it may seem at first when I see myself in a photograph and think it somebody else!) That's why I ask my question: wondering if anyone else here is of the age when he realizes that he's not going to be 21 forever, accepts that we all move forward in life, and, even though I doubt anyone would choose hair loss, understands that it's happened to a lot of men throughout history who have gone on to live perfectly fulfilling and productive lives.

And I guess that's my general function here: to show that balding isn't a death sentence, particularly to those younger fellows who think that their lives are over when they've scarcely begun.

38 and an HT vet with one FUE 2500 behind me. Started to loose hair faster after turning 30... Happy with my results here 16 months in. You can look up my central thread.

On Proscar - FIN, no sides.

                          Cheers
