Would 1,000-1,500 FUE grafts help? Pics included.
I think I posted this in the wrong section before, anyway sorry about that...I'm considering undergoing a procedure. I'm pretty much set on doing something small, about 1,000-1,500 grafts FUE. I don't like scars and I don't have the down-time to recover from FUT...
Please let me know if you think that graft range is worth it and would make a noticeable difference. I've been told by some that it would little to no impact.

I'm afraid I can't answer your question on exactly how many grafts you'll need but I would be interested to hear the answer. My hair looks very similar to yours in regards to thinning on top with receded temples. Maybe my temples are a fraction lower but very similar none the less..

First of all I have no idea why anyone in the world would go for a FUT these days. FUE is your best option.
I think 1500 grafts would help. But I also think you should post better pics.
From what I can tell the density won't be great for the bald area frontal, but it would certainly make a difference. If that's the only area the transplant will take place, it will help IMO.
But if those 1500 grafts are also for the top of your head and/or your crown.. Well then you need more then 1500 grafts.

A common risk in having strip surgery is a widened strip scar. With FUE, some men get small hypopigmented dots where the grafts were extracted. To maximize FUE donor area appearance, I highly recommend that all patients have their donor areas treated with ACell after undergoing FUE surgery. ACell has been approved by the FDA as a regenerative product:
ACell Recruits progenitor cells, promotes chemotactic and mitogenic activities and constructively remodels site-specific tissues where scarring would be expected.
