I'll contact Dr Cooley, as well as other repair doctors. Been to the DC area numerous times and will let you know next time I am.
All your info is much appreciated!!!

Judging by what I have seen from plucking, use of Acell, and some patients ending up with bad results I highly recommend that you do not contact Cooley and start researching history on the forums.

Everyone wants the answer handed to them that's the problem. That doesn't work very well but researching history will tell you all you need to know.

Cooley is known to be one of the best. I'm not sure what ACell has to do with anything, but he should absolutely be on your short list.

I'm not sure about Acell either?

    Topcat,

I'm not looking for answers to be handed to me, I'm merely asking people on this forum that have a lot more knowledge than I do. I do know that I want my micro grafts removed either by laser or electrolysis and then repair by either Fraxel or dermabrasion. Just looking for some knowledge and experience.

Sonn don’t be offended by my post just trying to push you into reading history on all the forums. It’s a lot of work and very time consuming but you will learn much more and find many answers. The best advice you will receive is from actual patients that have taken the time to post what they know to the forums over the years. The chances of that same patient or someone similar being here to answer your question at the same time you posted it is slim to none and slim does not seem to be in the building. What you are left with all too often are those that work the industry and are not necessarily looking out for your best interest. I wish it could be different but the facts and the history of how this whole industry operates has shown otherwise. Those that control the information regardless of what we are talking about will control to a great extent what you believe and it very often it is not the truth.

Just be careful, take that term cobblestoning or something similar and type it into the search function of several forums and read some of those threads.

From your description of the situation it would seem that you would be infinitely better served by staying away from any HT doctor and working with someone that deals in the area of skin resurfacing using which ever method you believe to be the best from further research.

    Topcat,

NO offense taken at all. I appreciate your honesty, as that's what I'm looking for on the forums. I've already made the decision to not goto a HT doctor and to search out a doctor/dermatologist with experience. Any further words of wisdom you have would be very much welcomed.

Sonn, before you have the hairs from the minigrafts removed permenently, get the advice from a few of the more reputable FUE Docs about removing those hair grafts and making use of them elsewhere. For example, placing them in the strip scar you have especially if you plan on shaving your head or going with a short buzz look. Once this is done I'd talk to a few Laser specialists. The newer Non-ablative lasers are pretty impressive.

If you have a good camera and can take some hi res photo's many of these MD's can get you some good info without even making the trip to see them. This is a good forum to locate those Docs. Personally I have had good success with Dr Cole. He has an extensive history of performing repair work. Others like Feriduni and Bisanga. Like topcat suggested..... do your research.

    best of luck.

    Thats some great feedback.

Does Dr Cole do laser repair work? I am thinking about getting laser treatment on my FUT scar - but I've always thought the best person to do so would be a HT surgeon. One that you can trust. Of which I don't think there are many.

    Northeastguy,

Thanks for the info. In your opinion, are Non-ablative lasers better/more efficient than Fraxel. I've researched Fraxel, but not too knowledgable in the non-ablative?
