Wtf. 26 and getting acne?

I know this is in the wrong forum but I figure it would get more views here. I know there a people on here who have acne issues so I'm in need of a bit of help. I've never had acne problems other than the occasional zit, even when going through puberty. In the last month I've had 5 zits pop-up in the right corner of my forehead and about 10-15 of all different sizes in the other corner which are dark red. One of the few things I was "blessed" with was a clear complexion. I wash my face a few times per week and use a facial moisturizer post-shower. I've done this for a decade with zero problems. Any suggestions on treating these little bastards? Benzoyl Peroxide? Proactive? Thanks for any help.
