aim4hair..
i think it will increase donor supply, you could harvest more hair simply bc there wont be any white dots so you dont need hair at the back to cover scars/dots....
its great for ppl who wanna shave , you could move more hair from sides/back and have it on top instead...

Machines/Robots can be built to be very accurate and precise, so besides speeding up the HT procedure, they would also likely increase the yield and leave far less scars.

Yeah, that's a groundbreaking idea...
And remember - the slick bald back and sides of your head will be completely scarless!!

Still way better than the contrary in my opinion

[QUOTE=aim4hair;114604]Honestly i still don't understand why ppl are so excited about dr. wesely scarless ht... this procedure will still have the limitation of donor supply and will not increase it by any means (according to dr. wesely himself).[/QUOTEIt
It's exciting to me cos he's gonna make it open to the whole community. If he proves it's as effective as FUE with the same yields and it's simple to do then there should be no reason why every clinic shouldn't offer if. It can change the industry - real scarless transplants, no strip scar and no white dots. I know you went to Gho and that's great but there's still loads of people who for one reason or another are getting normal FUE/FUT and if this comes out it means it'll benefit all of them. If Gho had of brought HST to the industry in the same way it woulda been even more exiting but he wants to keep it to himself so....
On a side note what's up with HASCI? I had email correspondence with Deborah and was asking about HSI technique, she answered once and then I wrote back and she's never replied so I wrote again and still no reply. I'm an awkward case cos I once got keloid scaring so I've got a lot of questions and hence why true scarless is so important to me.

Im just waiting for HT's to become reasonably priced.
I mean being an NW3 diffused if I wanted to be a NW1 it would cost me 7000-10000 to get my full hair back(density+hairline), that's just ridiculous in my books, especially being in my early 20's.
if they get it down to the 2000-3000 range for say 500-1000 grafts, they'd get alot more people interested.

In Turkey you can get it for 2 euros per graft from a top doctor.

Personally, I would never like a machine touch me for something like that.
It is not just accuracy, it is safety first of all. What if for some reason the robot goes berserk?
No, I don't think in the foreseeable future (a few centuries at least) they would let any robot to do this kind of operation alone. But a robotic system like the da Vinci one used in urology today, has the potential to provide faster and more accurate procedures.

With the existing tools and technology, I don't think they can do this in one day. It would be rather 3-4 days. But this is the last and easiest to solve problem.

Hi Vox, let me guess you mean the donor problem correct?
