Dry hair with dry/flakey scalp, Shampoo advice please.

Hi, as this is my first post i will do a little introduction, I'm 24 live in Derbyshire, East Midlands, United kingdom and i started the boots hair retention scheme in January and have been on finasteride for 12 weeks now. So far no noticeable side effects, i take the recommended 1MG a day dosage.

I shower and wash my hair daily and currently use a herbal essences shampoo, my hair does not have a good natural grease to it, if i don't wash my hair daily my hair becomes very dry and my scalp flaky/itchy. I know washing your hair daily is not a good thing and I'm sure its contributing to my loss of hair at the front of my hairline, i would put myself around NW 1.5 at the moment.

I'm not sure whether i need a shampoo with a hydration element to it to try and give my hair/scalp more moisture or to try nizoral to try and clear my scalp of flakiness first. Any advice from people experiences is very welcome.

I currently don't use any minoxidil products but advice is always welcome.
