Well if you lost the thinning part, it would be NW 3.
Just stick to the meds and you should be fine

My answer exactly. Definitely looks heading towards Nw3, but it is not there yet, thankfully.
Keep on the treatments and you'll be fine. It is still very possible by the 18 to 24 month mark that you could even fill in the gap a decent amount.

That photo actually makes you look like a Nw1+ going on Nw2. Anyone agree?

I dunno it's kind of deceptive...the little bit of hair that's in the thinning area is still about an inch long so it covers up the recession even when looking thin..I think I'm a nw1.5 to 2 in shape but 2.5-3 if I were to lose that thin spot

Wow, so exactly my hair then.
I can even wear my hair up in the front and only look NW2 max. The edge of the hairline and about 3/4 of an inch back from it are just incredibly thin now though. Also, I have a bit of a spot developing on the crown and considerable overall diffusion.
Frankly, I could live with it staying as is, but I'm months away from buzzing my head unless finasteride stops it cold.

I'm taking fin and applying minox. Lately it's been harder to cover the thinning up and I'm considering the buzz. Hopefully it's just another shed and i thicken up some more in the next 6-12 months...I have been noticing ive been losing around 200 hairs a day lately. I might just buzz for the summer and come to terms with it for both ease of application and better absorption...if I thicken up ill grow the hair out again to cover up the thin spots.
Life's just too damn short to worry about it all the time and with a buzz...hey it'll look worse but ill never have to worry about the wind or rain(live in Seattle) exposing my hairline cuz it'll already be exposed

Do it broski! Seriously if you've done a buzz cut before and it looked ok, just do it again, but dont stop fighting the battle. If my hair gets to a point where it looks real bad and is causin distress, im buzzin it and still applying stuff cause it will be way easier. Then if it seems like things are workin, grow it out again
