People here tell me i'm an NW3 and i'm in a lot worse shape than you are. Personally I think i'm an NW4 already, unfortunately. I think you may be right, you are NW3 but you have thick hair.

Thanks for the replies...Sorry I do use ket as well once a week. I only use rogaine once a day and .5mg of fin. The rest of my hair is doing pretty good it's just the corners have no density but The hair that remains is somewhat thick. What nw do y'all think that would be if completely slick bald...I'm guessing 3

Not sure how I would rate it on the NW chart. 2.5-3 maybe if the thin areas were slick.

I would consider using the full 1 mg of fin every day. Good luck.

thanks for looking guys - i got a pretty good picture (i think) from the sides - just can't get it uploaded for some reason...i think 3...but yea i suppose theres not a huge difference between 2.5/3

RU is effective for the hairline, I would consider it if I were you!

As for RU...I don't know how I feel about experimental stuff...I'd rather be a healthy nw3 than a nw2 who gets cancer in 10 years. Is it any more dangerous than taking fin? I'd only use it on my hairline

As a side note I think rogaine and fin are doing a great job thickening up and maintaining the rest of my hair...it's just my hairline thinned out before I started fin...so I think it hasn't gotten any thinner over the past year but it probably won't get to a desirable density/thickness

And everything I read about RU is that it's great for maintenance and you have a decent shot at some regrowth. Dunno if its worth the risk
