Hey guys,
I´m 33 years old and i´ve been losing my hear for the past 3 years. At first i tried only minoxidil wich worked great for me for two years, had some regrowth at temples hiding some receeding e and also some thinning. I have receeding temples and thinning in frontal area. probably NW2 now.
For the last 2 months i´ve added Nizoral and i think it´s giving me some strenght on the miniaturised hair in my temples. Also i had some itching scalp that disapeared after starting Nizoral.
But the general thinning has come to a point where i decided to start FIN(recommended by dermatologist, and i have also made my research and i´m pretty aware of all the things related to it)
Before starting, i made blood tests for Total Testosterone, Free Testosterone and DHT.
Results:
Tot Test: 5,51 ng/ml normal range: 1,66 - 8,77
Free Test: 14,1 pg/ml normal range: 8.00 - 27,00
DHT : 267 pg/ml normal range: 250-800
So, testosterone levels are pretty much between normal range, but DHT is bit low but still inbetween normal levels.
I consider myself having a very high libido. Have a girlfriend, can perform more than once per day, and in the times i havent girlfriend or similar, i could easily masturbate 4, 5 times a day.
So, considering my low DHT levels, i think that i just have more sensitive androgen receptors in my hair.
Question: Had anyone had same kind of DHT results and started FIN? And what happened?
