    Default Florida sun

I am out in the sun a lot, and am now, at age 53, burning my scalp occasionally, so I need sunscreen on top of my head for the first time. Question: If I do a transplant, am I going to have to wear a hat or take special precautions? For how long? Am I running a risk of frying (and losing) the new hairs after a year or two?
