How long does hair take to change from Brown to blond
I have light brown/ fairish hair and just bought and used a whole box of Just for Men blond hair dye. I basically just rubbed it over the hair about half an hour ago and then washed the hair with shampoo afterwards. However, I can't see any changes in my hair colour, so how long does it take to go from brown hair to blond hair? Also, the only reason I'm doing this is to make MPB stand out less.

Hm, what's in it? Peroxide? It should have shown by now. Maybe you didn't leave it on long enough or it's not strong enough for your shade.

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T DO IT!
Seriously, don't freakin' bleach your hair.
Bleaching your hair will make the loss way more obvious, as it thins the hairs and makes them a lot weaker and easier to see through.
The effect is extremely bad. I bleached when I was 17 and when I looked in the mirror, that was when I realized that I was balding. That first week, I got so many "you look like an old man" comments. Once it grew out again and I shaved the bleached part off, I looked normal (until the balding really set in, about 6 months later)
Don't bleach. Ever.

Reason: It should be added that I normally have blond hair, and it still made my loss way more obvious.

Why would it though, wouldn't blond hair blend in better with the skin on the MPB bald spots, and make it less noticeable. Darker hair colours seem to give the impression of a much greater contrast between the hair and skin. Also, when hair gets wet - blond hair seems to look less obvious when it's wet than say brown.
