FELLOW HAIRLOSS WARRIORS, I haven't forgotten you!

So It's been a while since my last post. Now that some time has passed I feel I can give a more full account of my story.

So I quit March/April 2013 due to low libido after 9 months of Propecia use. After quitting I initially had a very immediate spike in my libido, this only lasted around 2 weeks before it began to drop again over the coming months. I would say that my libido is certainly lower than it was before starting propecia....but higher than it was during the last two months on the drug.

After finding myself in a new relationship during this post propecia period, I realised that my current level of libido is not going to cut it! I have decided to get some blood tests done in order to clear some of the fog, and maybe narrow down the cause.

I'm not yet resigning myself to a post propecia effects "doomed for life" scenario that many others often do. My libido wasn't that high and mighty before propecia due to constant anxiety and low self-esteem (I mean, I started propecia to prevent baldness....duh), so I will consult the doctors.

If its.."hmmm not enough Iron *Mr Kloser43*" Then I'll take some pills...

If its.."hmmm not enough vitamins *Mr Kloser43*" Then I'll take some pills..

If its.."hmmm low testosterone *Mr Kloser43*" Then I'll go through some "wonderful" testosterone replacement therapy

If Its.."hmmm everything is fine *Mr Kloser43*, maybe you're a big anxiety filled, depressed stress-bag who needs to eat better, relax, exercise more....oh and here's a Viagra to help you along the way, get back to me in 3 months" Then I'll just have to give that a go too.

    **Quick note on the hair-front**
I think I gained very little during the nine months, so i lost little post quitting. My hair continues to slowly thin in a terribly depressing diffuse pattern. To be honest my libido has taken the forefront of my mind at this point, so I'm just dealing...

    Stay weird
    Kloser

That is kind of my issues preventing me from propecia. Yeah it might help, but it might not too. Overall too many unknowns going on, and doctors are reluctant to prescribe it because common sense says do no harm, and taking a drug for a cosmetic problem is a dangerous game to play regardless of how you value hair.
I also value my liver that processes that pill for years you take it, and whatever it is DHT does. Just yesterday a study said loss of estrogen can cause wait gain in men. We discover this stuff all the time clearly we dont understand it that well. I might wait a few years for a safe topical.

        Loss of estrogen?

        Fin increases it.
