    Propecia + Rogaine questions

I have a few questions regarding these two substances,

    (a) As a 27 year old, NW 2.5 heading toward NW3, how much would it cost on a weekly and monthly basis to maintain what I have using these two products? For instance how much is a bottle/ box of each on average, and how long would they last for?

    (b) What would be the ratio for them maintaining hair in individuals - would it be nearly 100%, or 75%, or as low as 50%.

    (c) Do these products thicken hair, or perhaps even cause regrowth of hair at the temples, and on a lightly visible bald patch at the back?

    Thanks.

    A) You can get a 6-month supply of generic minox on amazon for like 20 dollars. If you get 5mg generic finasteride (be it online or through a prescription) and divide it into fourths, you can get a year's supply of fin for less than 50 dollars quite easily.

    B) Who knows? In any case, you're better off using treatments.

    C) They do in some people. In general: the more recent your hair loss, the more likely it is to grow back.

I see. Could you or anyone give your opinion about buying items like fin, minox and nizoral shampoo online cheap and without prescription, is this a good or a bad idea? Here's an example (I hope this is not against the forum rules posting links like this)

Also why are fin, minox and nizoral referred to the "big 3". Thanks for the help.

They are referred to as the "Big 3" because it's deemed as many to be the most effective way to save and hopefully, regrow some hair. Each of the three play a different role.

Fin- is supposed to prevent you from balding any further, while there is always the possibility of growth and thickening

Minox- is supposed to help you regrow and thicken some of the hair that you have lost.

Nizoral- is supposed to cleanse the scalp so that the above two can be as effective as possible.

Thank you for this. Out of curiosity, are the Big 3 together expensive in terms of upkeep on say a monthly basis? Also are the Big 3 enough for an individual with MPB, or are there other tablets, shampoos, creams, medications etc. that one should be using?
