Sutures Vs. Staples
Hey everybody! I assume sutures are better but some doctors perform staples. Does it make a difference on the scar?

Generally speaking, some docs opt to use staples when closing the donor site to help prevent scar stretching as much as possible. I had them on my fourth procedure as my laxity was not as ideal as desired.
Another option is a double-closure technique using sutures and can also be effective in preventing stretching.
