What density to grow long hair
Do you think Gho might one day be able to reach more than 70 grafts cm2?
Is there any surgeon who manage to get close to Mother Nature density?
I was wondering what density was needed to be able to really enjoy again longer haircuts!!!!???

70 grafts cm2 would be plenty for long hair too..you don't need more than that..and if you want more than that you will more than likely have to wait for hair multiplication depending on what nw you are

Well it will be different from person to person, depending on many factors.
1.Hair shaft diameter.
2.Hair color.
3.Hair shape (curly/wavy/straight)
4.Skin color
5.Desired haircut.
I think that anything above 80-90 hairs/cm2 will look good. Therefore 40-45 fu cm2 will do the trick provided at least 2 hairs per fu. This should be actual fu count, not doctor said there will be 35 fu's and there is actually 20 fu's.

Whats the longest cut you can have with Ghos 35g/cm2 before it starts looking too thin?

yes good question, that was actually my point.
for those who are on FB, type Gerard Joling (singer/musician) and look at his recent pictures, not so bad, really...but I think he might need another two or three to start to have a real dense top and have longer hair cuts

Joling had existing hair before HST+he wears tons of concealer
We are talking about 35 hst grafts on slick bald scalp
Are you implying GCs hair will look the same once his HST (35g/cm2 )grows out?
I bet it wont as his surrounding hair looks much thicker and even with concealer it will be hard to match that
GC have about 50 HAIRS per cm2, 200 is average...thats about 1/4 of original density, or 1/3 at best...not enough to pull illusion
Unless GC buys more grafts buzzcut is way to go

I am experiencing regrowth and was just wondering how many HST or grafts would be needed for a slick NW6 to reach the amount of hair that will let him free to choose any kind of hairstyle.

Why don't you ask Spencer Kobren's IAHRS recommended surgeons?
Don't you trust them??
Or do you think just Dr. Gho is able to give you a proper answer?
