Default Capillary Shampoo. Does it work?

I've been researching into natural hair loss treatments and came across an ad on youtube for something called Capillary shampoo.

Here are the ads I saw.

The ingredients weren't actually mentioned so I emailed the company and they said it's a proprietary blend of topical herbs that block DHT and nourish the hair follicles including saw palmetto, stinging nettles, pumpkin seed, ginseng, and others.

The results and testimonials look pretty convincing.

Has anyone tried this or have any opinion about it? How do you think it compares to Nizoral, or Regenepure DR?

    No...just...no...

Those adverts are a joke! They are clichéd and hilarious!

Well obviously they are actors, Rogaine uses actors in their ads too. The blonde is pretty hot though. Still, I have heard that at least stinging nettles and saw palmetto block DHT and they are both in this shampoo.

I'm thinking it could work like a natural version of Nizoral which is also mildy anti-androgenic.

No opinions about this? It has a lot of topical anti-androgens in it like stinging nettles and saw palmetto so I'm sure it probably works at least a little bit.

I wouldn't waste my money and time (time=hair) on "natural" hair loss treatments.

From my understanding, "Natural" treatments do not have to go through any FDA approval for safety or efficacy. So they can claim something, with no proof or back up that the claim is true. Some one correct me if i'm misinformed.

Yeah but I at least think there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that certain natural treatments like nettles, green tea and saw palmetto are effective.

I know capillary has all of those.

From my experience of being on hair loss forums since 2008, those who claim these treatments work for MPB never have any pictures to show for. While on the other hand, despite the negative things people say about them, finasteride and minoxidil users who claim good results at least show pictures as proof.

You are dead set at going the natural route and I don't blame you. I don't like any one telling me what's good or bad, I like to try things out myself because our bodies are different and what may not work for me, may work for you, so go ahead and give it a shot. Besides, if something really does not work, I hate going by word of mouth "Oh some one told me this does not work" but then they never even tried it. I did go the natural route way before I started on the FDA approved meds and unfortunately it was a waste of time and money. Take pictures before you start, and then take pictures at 4 months, 6 months, 8 months and 12 months.
