Does blond hair make MPB less noticeable?
I'm just curious as to whether blond hair makes MPB less noticeable, and makes it stand out less in comparison to brown or black hair?

Some do say that if you're thinning darker hair makes it look better.
I see, thanks for the advice! I'm actually fair haired/ mousy brown haired anyway, beard + eyebrows + arm hair and elsewhere is blond, so I might be killing two birds with the one stone here, (a) making MPB less noticeable until I have enough money for a HP, rograine etc, and (b) matching up the rest of hair colouring with my head.

I think it depends.
I was at a NW2.5 and for a long time considered making my hair darker. A friend put me off, but when I got around to it, it actually gave my hair a lot of depth making it look thicker.
Also, dying hair will physically increase the size of the hair.

Just out of curiosity, why would you dye your hair darker if it would make MPB more noticeable? Also, how does blond hair dye make the hair thicker, give it more depth etc? Thanks.
Also as a NW2.5 myself and if I dye my hair blond, would the MPB still be noticeable in some areas?

I wanted a change, and like I said it didn't make my MPB more noticeable.
Dark hair dye, i.e. brown/black makes hair thicker, because it increases the diameter of the hairs.

I see. Still though even if it makes it thicker, wouldn't blond hair better disguise MPB a lot more than brown or black hair dye?

Yes because there is less contrast between the scalp and the hair. My dad has blonde hair and his hair loss is much less noticeable than mine.
