Getting back to this issue, is blond hair when it's wet (whether from rain or sweat) less noticeable in men with MPB than in those with darker hair, or is it no less noticeable?

I have blonde, almost white hair. Baldness is not any less obvious with light coloured hair.

Does dying hair blond increase the size of the hair, or were you only referring to darker hair dyes?

I would say that thinning is less obvious if there is less disparity between the color of skin and hair (eg light skin with dark hair makes thinning more obvious and so does dark skin with light hair)
With bare patches I doubt it makes a difference.

TheLaughingCow, I don't mean to sound rude - but what the hell were you on about? I just used a good bit of blond bleach there and my hair turned an almost white like blond colour. The MPB is WAY less noticeable than with fairish/ light brown hair. In fact I feel it is hardly noticeable at times depending on where I am looking at it.

Some do say that if you're thinning darker hair makes it look better.
