Minoxidil results, how soon ?

I've been using 5% minoxidil every night(once a day) for the last 3 weeks. I believe I am just about at the end of the initial shedding phase, but its hard to say. I am using the minoxidil on my hairline and temples ( I know its only proven to work on the crown) but I'm only 19 and just starting to show the early signs of MPB and I've read younger males in the early stages of MPB are more likely to see improvement in the hairline/temple region over older males.

My question is for the people who have used minoxidil, around when did you start to see results? ( keep in mind I only use it once a day).

And has anyone noticed an increase in acne when using minoxidil?

I've noticed a few pimples around the hairline which is expected I guess, but majority of it is facial acne which seems odd( already have acne issues and I finished my cycle of antibiotics around same time so could be because of that)

visible results in 4 - 6 months. r u taking Fin too?

No I'm not . Got it prescribed and bought the stuff too ,...but after weighing the side effects , decided its not for me .its still sitting in my medicine cabinet untouched Honestly just want to maintaine what I have until something better comes out.

Thing is I'm not 100% sure I even have MPB (it's what my doctor told me) I though it was more of a mature hairline but decided to act anyways
, dad didn't start losing hair until 40.. Just have a cousin from my moms side that started at 22
