Default Started Propecia: Will be posting updates

Hey Guys! I started propecia 1mg about a month ago. No side affects yet at all. Here's some pics from today. I'll probably post some every 3 months? I cut my hair short. Hoping that I could get used to the shape of my head!!! hahahaha I also attached a before balding picture so you could see how thick my hair was in 2010... although it was thinning at this point already :/ Obviously I had the emo look back then hahahaha

Thanks for sharing. Propecia probably has the best chance to work when used early before significant hair loss has occured. Some even get a bonus with dormant follicles being stinulated to generate new hairs or strengthening of weak thinning hairs. This can give the appearence of more hair.

Hey Doctor! Thanks for the reply. I've heard that it is very helpful for early hairloss. Would you consider my hairloss to be early still? My fingers are crossed that this will help!

At your age the hair loss is likely in the early stages. Hopefully you can at least stop the progession and maybe even gain a little ground.

Looks like your loss is mostly on the crown. From what I hear, that's where you're most likely to benefit. Your head shape looks decent, so I think you'll have no problem overcoming hair loss, one way or the other.

It's been a little over a month since I last posted. I'm not seeing any regrowth yet, which isn't expected at 2 months. I do notice that my hair looks fuller when it's a little bit longer... rather than buzzed. The hair looks VERY thing buzzed. I also would like to point out that I don't have any side effects.

2 months for me too. Hair feels healthier but thinner, just like you described. Hopefully we're both just waiting for the new strong hairs to come in. No sides here either.

    Did you shed pretty good?

I'm not sure if I am shedding because I keep cutting my hair, which appears worse when buzzed. I do think I am having some kind of a shed but i'm not completely sure. A few people told me that my hair is looking thicker but I don't think so and it's not really possible that anything noticeable could happen already.

Word. Wouldn't stress it either way. Your hair looks infinitely better short than long. Keep at it, breh.

Hey good luck. I just joined and posted up a bit on my propecia experience, starting in october of 2012. I will say I was a great responder but started "possibly" having side effects.
What I would give to have your first pics hair again.
Anyway keep me informed if you have any sides.

I started noticing some weird adverse stuff after a month or so ago after starting to take oxy elites (fat burner I liked taking pre-propecia).
Im going on vaca for 2 weeks and dropping everything. I would like to continue but got a bit worried after reading some crazy stories online. Yes I know you have to take those stories with a grain but every myth is based in some fact.

    Good luck man.
    how old are you.
as for shedding I shaved to number one buzzer cause my intial shedding was AWFUL!
