    Default Advice/thoughts? fellow hairloss warriors...

    Greetings

I've posted my individual battle in detail before, so I'll try and keep this one brief. I'm a diffuse thinner (thinning across top/relatively Unaffected hairline shape)

Been on proscar cut 1.25 per day (roughly) for around 9months.

Pro's - Hair that survived the shed may possibly have thickened slightly
Con's - Shed hair at the front/centre has not all grown back.

So basically post shed hair may have improved but I've definitely lost density at the front and center. It seems to have briefly accelerated loss at the front then hit a brick wall with no sign of return.

I've also decided to try and cut it down to smaller doses if I can. Though I'm still "functioning", my libido has definitely declined in the last few months.

I don't want it to become psychological so I'll cut it down for a while and if i see improvements I may stick at that level and boost it with minox?

I'm feeling kind of rubbish about it today so general thoughts/experiences/suggestions would help cheer me up.

What do you think fellow warriors??

Yeah, my hairline is shot and frankly I'm cool with that. I've only been on fin for 2-3 weeks, so it's too early to say anything other than I had minor nut ache for two days and I haven't had the dreadful itch since the 2nd dose. Hair looks like shit after a shower, but I'm over it.

For me, I started aggressively parting and styling my hair again (Mad Men style). I work in a professional environment, and I'm comfortable enough with every other aspect of my presentation that I own the receder. Hell, I even halfway like it. But yeah, I doubt the fin will put the hair back in the frontal region for me either.

I work with a dude who is farther along than me and he tries so hard to mess up his hair to hide his thinning/recession. It's so pathetic. At the right angle you can see half of his scalp. Re-affirmed my current path for me.

Similar to you, when I had the nut ache for two days, I went to a super low dose (.20 mg) of fin for 2 days. Maybe that helped my body adjust, maybe it was just psychological -- I don't know. What I do know is that it squashed whatever concerns I had.

As for libido, no issues here yet. Shit, I can barely concentrate at work or even fall asleep at night because I'm horny as the devil. I've just laid off the booze and been hitting the gym religiously. As with everything fin related, I have no idea if I'm actually preventing sides, but I'm feeling good mentally, and that's all that counts.

Eat well. Work out. Get motivated. Hopefully you can get your unit back to 100%. Best luck man.
