Hair taking a pounding with dut
Was on fin for 13 years and it was helped to slow and keep what I had. I started noticing that it wasn't working as well before so I switched to dut a few months ago and now my hair is really taking a beating. Much thinning in hairline and crown which has just sunk my battleship. My question is would this have happened anyways if I had stayed on propecia because mpb is just much stronger now that the meds?
Thanks

I see people say this a lot but I just don't see how it is possible. Some claim that the hairline is sensitive to T (dut should theoretically increase free T), but I don't think this T increase is enough to be significant. I think T only becomes a problem when you are exceeding natural amounts (using steroids). Did you shed when you started fin? You could be just experiencing a shed due to fluctuating hormones. You say you've only been using two months?

Also OP, if it doesn't get better, you should look into RU. Very intelligent people on other forums theorize that duta and RU is enough for even the most severe MPB.

Sorry OP wish I had the answer to your question. Try hairlosshelp, a lot of people use DUT and been on it for several years.

Your dutasteride is hopefully legit, on prescription? Not from an internet pharmacy www.buyfakecheapdut.com?

Yes legit perscription from a hair transplant dr

What was your dose of finasteride?
What is your dose of dutasteride?
Do you use any other hair loss meds (minoxidil, ketoconazole, etc.), or did you during the 13 years on fin?
Did you abruptly stop finasteride and start taking dutasteride? Or did you taper off or on either one?
When exactly did you start dut?
Do you take it on an empty stomach?
