Hello attached is a pic of my balding head.

I plan on using finastride 1mg ED with a pill cutter (buying 5mg fincar pills to save cost)

Any advice appreciated.

Finasteride is an option but please educate yourself about the risks involved. I personally suffered a very negative experience, however I understand that it is an effective medication and in your position one you will be considering. If you do go for finasteride, can I urge you to get some blood tests done first? That way should the worst happen, you will have a baseline comparison.

In particular, make sure you get:

Total testostrone
SBHG
Free-testostrone
Estrogen (E2)
DHT

Also make sure you have the blood test in the morning, as that's when testosterone levels are highest. Some may think that even acknowledging the risks of sides may cause you to fall victim due to some psychosomatic reaction, but be aware that what you are essentially doing is tinkering with hormones that interact in ways no one fully understands, so it's in your best interests to take this seriously.

Also, give minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo a try. They are comparatively low risk and quite effective in some men. Minoxidil brought life back to my hairline, although the shed wasn't fun.
