Yeah I was pretty chuffed. Tested me for hormones, blood etc which came back all normal and just stated I 'most likely' have normal MPB. He did express reservations on Fin though, worried about fertility for my age, which is a given as sides MAY happen and if they do at a young age, bye bye family.
But yeah overall, not a bad experience.

Just a couple of quick questions:
It's pretty obvious to me that I've inherited MPB from my maternal grandfather, he was a norwood 7. Does this mean I'll eventually end up here as well?
Will Fin help to fill in my crown? It's not that bad yet, but its becoming more noticeable as my hair gets longer.
Thanks.

Don't read into the hereditary aspect of hair loss too much, you'll just drive yourself crazy - the science of it isn't full understood. The first allele linked to hairloss they found was on the X-chromosome, which you get your from mother; thus, maternal grandfather as a hair template was accepted for years. It's barely worth more than an ole wives tale now.
My maternal grandfather is a 70 year old Spanish man with thick, white hair. All my hairloss is on my paternal side, and now that I'm NW2.5, I believe my hair is close to what my paternal grandfather's was at my age, with an age deviation of only 2-3 years.
Fin is actually supposed to be more effective on crown thinning, and less so on the hairline. So, if that's where your thinning is, then fin is probably a Godsend.
