More grafts with FUE
I was just doing some reading on Dr. Feller's website and I came across the following...He is referring to FUE.
"The great power of this novel technique may be appreciated by the simple fact that it actually changed the classic definition of the “donor area” forever. No longer limited to a narrow zone within the occipital and lateral areas of the head, the definition now includes far greater areas of the scalp that were inaccessible via traditional strip techniques."
I have a limited number of grafts left in my donor area since I've had 4 strip surgeries. I believe the doc told me approximately 2000. If I am reading Dr. Feller's statement correctly, does this mean I can get an FUE surgery performed by him without touching those 2000 grafts???

IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
I cannot tell you what Dr. Feller meant by telling you 2000 . It could mean hairs, which I doubt. More likely follicular units remaining if you only stayed within the donor area were a strip could be removed. With FUE you would most likely have many additional follicular units that could be retrieved from other areas. I am sure if you ask he would be glad to explain exactly what he meant.
