I'm thinking of buzzing my hair this weekend (not too short, i'll like 1.5-2cm), should i do it? I can grow pretty thick stubble, i'm thinking it would look nice buzzed. But i'm kinda scared it would show my receding hairline too much.

I'm only have a receding hairline, on top it's still thick and i have no balding in the crown either. I'm on fin and minox, althought im thinking of dropping the minox since its making my face look fat.

Other may disagree, but to my eye you're about a NW 1-1.5. Very early temple loss.

I would say norwood 2...just stay on fin to stop the loss and you'll be fine until the next new treatment comes out or longer.

current style looks good, why change it? for easier application of minox maybe but you're saying you'll quit.
but I say you should only quit it if you are sure it's not making any difference (positive of course). I dropped it myself because it was no help and I did not see a negative effect of quitting. but not everyone's the same.

You have very minor loss. Whether you should buzz it or not is totally up to you and how you feel you will like the look. It's a good idea for all guys to at least try it at some time.

    I wouldn't have surgery.

Looks like adult hairline to me. Head tilted right down emphasises the corners more.

    How old are you?

Water retention in the face due to the minox, it's a common symptom apparently. I've tried everything from taking dandelion pills to drinking more water to alleviate it but nothing helps. And i'm 24 years old.
