Default Belgravia Centre: My thoughts, your thoughts and advice.

So am just about to finish a 3 month course with the belgravia centre. I must say, it has worked.

I have been taking propecia, 5% minoxidil (driplet solution), & 10% minoxidil (cream solution).

My main concern is that i am not an idiot. These guys are OBVIOUSLY way to overpriced.

I am thinking of switching to kirkland 5% (for nights), rogaine 5% (for mornings) & propecia (from ukfinastrine.info).

I am however slightly worried that i will not get the same results. Is there any difference between belgravias propecia and generic & also the minoxidils.

    Hi Shadpro,

Belgravia offer a good professional service. I've spoken to many guys who have only had positive things to say about them and especially their 10%, 12%
own minoxidil with the A acid in it. Some results I have seen have been quite remarkable.

I appreciate its more expensive than the traditional 5 % however in light of your positive results from it I would suggest still keeping it in your
arsenal and maybe alternate it with the 5 % to make it last longer :-)

As the saying goes - if it ain't broken don't fix it in light of your positive result thus far.

read my thread on belgravia centre extortion. i was a client there for 15 months. while my hair loss stopped, which was a success, i was only using their cream solution for my temples which gave me no regrowth. so i was happy enough though retain what i had but....their prices are scandalous. the reason they are so high is that the believe only them can offer propecia, where is its widly available for a fraction of their price. i then went on minox regaine 5% for my temples and have been getting my own goods for the last 6 months, summary.....my hair has not been adversely affected since i changed to doing it myself.furthermore while the stuff they sell DOES have positive effects they have no reason to charge people these outrageous prices, no doubt playing on peoples ignorance and sensitivity. also their customer service is lousy, they are glorified salespeople, they didnt ONCE ask me about my progress, only of course when my products were renewed. overall i gave them an average rating. buy th propecia yourself from dr fox uk...very cheap compared to them, also their cream 12% i do believe so you might want to stay on that, but thts £170 for three months when bought on its own!!any other questions dont hesitate to ask my friend, also a question for spex...do you think as a respected hair guru you should advise people to be weary of these extortionate hair clinics??

No, no difference between branded and generics, it's chemically identical.

DON'T buy generic finasteride off ukfinasteride.info. Get a prescription off your GP (or a dermatologist doctor), you can get a year's worth of finasteride for £6, like I did (from Superdrug).

I first went to the belgravia centre in 2009.

The sales woman told me that I will be bald in "3 years". This is my hair today:

My hairline when I saw them (2009):

    Today (2013):

They are hard sellers, who play off people's insecurities, that rip people off with products that are already proven to work. Id rather go to a proper dermatologist for a diagnoses then these cowboys.
