Dr. Gho and other transplant surgeons
If Dr. Gho's technique is so good why doesn't everyone do it?

Who said Ghos HST is so good,
HST has downsides and it also has upsides compared to traditional HTs, its not perfect procedure

No I really haven't looked into it that much and was hoping for some information. What are the downsides and upsides? Why don't other doctors do it?

Downsides are: Gho offers small sessions of about 1500 grafts, patient have to wait at least 9 months between procedures, it takes many years to to transform nw6 to nw2
Upsides: no visible scaring, 80%+ donor regrowth

Okay, so essentially this procedure would be best for someone in their early balding stages because they would continue to have it done as they age and become more bald and need the procedure? because then they would have more overall hair donated? ...since 80% of the donor comes back?

Well duh it doesn't guarantee 100% regeneration. But I wonder, could this little imperfection be done away with using the benefit of the HST procedure itself to (at least in theory) approach a full density in the harvested donor area? Will the sites, which have failed to regenerate, grow hair again, if you inject them with grafts in a second HST procedure?
