Generic Finasteride in U.S.

My prescription was up for refill and they gave me a bottle of generic fin from Dr Reddy's. I guess generic is now available in the US, maybe it was before I dont know. It was 20 bucks cheaper for me at 70 instead of 90, so thats nice.

I was laughing though, I had a hard enough time cutting those damn propecia pills in half to take .5mg. These generic ones are about 1/3 the size of propecia...should be fun trying to cut them in half.

Propecia went generic this month. I was paying 87 dollars a month for a 30 day supply at CVS pharmacy. Walmart's pharmacy has it for 63 dollars here in the U.S. The pharmacist told me the price will continue to drop as the months go by. He told me he had been taking generic proscar (5mg) for the last nine years, and was going to switch so he would have to quarter his pills anymore.
