Hair shedding slowing then speeding up !

My hair has been falling out in diffuse pattern for 9 months with no regrowth (losing 200 hairs a day ) l dont know wither its due to chronic TE or AGA .l started Yasmin contraceptive about 2 1/2 months ago .l also started a herbal mix from a medical herbalist 6 weeks ago which contains saw palmetto and horsetail along with other herbs .My hair shedding slowed for a few days then almost stopped for a day speeded up then slowed again .Today it speeded up again My question is is it a sign that hair shedding is about to stop if the shedding slows then speeds up and slows again ? Thanks
